My design process follows the double diamond: bringing ideas into reality, from conception through prototyping and testing to mass manufacture. I do the research, draw the form, build the electronics, run the tests, and report whatever the results say rather than whatever the idea needed them to say.
Early work
Industrial design, ergonomics and human factors, drawing, colour-material-finish, typography and art direction.
Electronics, ESP32, Bluetooth Low Energy, EEG and EMG sensing, MEMS microphones, motion sensors, servo control, PCB design and soldering.
Embedded C and Arduino, Python, signal processing, data logging and analysis.
Fusion 360, parametric CAD and surfacing, design for manufacture, injection moulding, cut-and-sew textiles, costed bills of materials.
